Michael Hinojosa, Ed.D., Superintendent, Dallas Independent School District. Dr. Hinojosa is a veteran of more than 22 years of school district leadership. His career in public education – from teacher and coach to superintendent/CEO –spans three decades, including leadership at two of the 25 largest school systems in America – the Dallas Independent School District in Texas, and the Cobb County School District in suburban Atlanta, Georgia.

His alma mater, the College of Education at Texas Tech University, named him a Distinguished Alumnus, and he was honored as Outstanding Latino Educator by the Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents.

Hinojosa received a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University. He earned his master’s degree at the University of North Texas and received his doctorate from The University of Texas at Austin.
