The November 16 meeting of DPALC featured Steven Bullitt, Assistant Special Agent in Charge, North Texas Electronic Crimes Task Force, United States Secret Service.
Steven Bullitt began his career as a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service on July 10, 1995 and was selected as the Supervisor over the Dallas Field Office North Texas Electronic Crimes Task Force in January of 2010. In this capacity, Mr. Bullitt oversees a task force with over 25 Special Agents and Police Officers that partner with over 400 law enforcement, private sector and academia participants.
Prior to the Dallas assignment, Steven Bullitt was the Program Manager of the United States Secret Service’s Electronic Crimes Special Agent Program (ECSAP); Steven Bullitt’s duties included managing a program comprised of approximately 650 special agents deployed in 70 field offices throughout the world. These agents are qualified to investigate complex network intrusion investigations and conduct computer forensic examinations on many types of electronic evidence, including computers, telecommunications devices, and other forms of electronic media. Steven was also instrumental in creating the National Computer Forensic Institute in Hoover, Alabama as well as the U.S. Secret Service’s only Cell Phone Forensic Facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
