Behind the Scenes of Presidential Gifting: Do’s and Don’ts of International Diplomacy and Protocol
Tiffany Divis is an experienced executive with a unique blend of marketing, customer service and operational leadership skills. She builds high performing teams through excellent relationship management. Tiffany is a results-driven leader who excels in dynamic and challenging business environments.
Currently, she runs her own international consulting management company, TTD Resources, LLC, focused on marketing, special events and provides exclusive gift and presentation services for various clients including PlainsCapital Bank and The Sweetheart Ball. Also, she is the spokesperson for The Thanks-Giving Foundation. Through TTD Resources, she held the position of Vice President of Marketing for Blenheim Capital Services Limited, a London-based investment bank. Tiffany orchestrated private client events, domestically and overseas as well as coordinated Blenheim’s participation at international air shows from Paris to London to Bahrain and Dubai. Tiffany is also a keynote speaker regarding her insider industry knowledge. She has been a feature fashion editor for a local publication and serves as wardrobe stylist and fashion show producer for select clients.
Tiffany was selected by First Lady Laura Bush to serve as the Senior Gifts Officer and Special Assistant in the Office of the Chief of Protocol at the U.S. Department of State and the White House in Washington, D.C. from February of 2006 to January 2009. She maximized her 20 plus years of retail experience to lead the Gift Unit in procurement of exclusive custom gifts. This entailed management of the gift exchanges to and from foreign world leaders on behalf of the President, Vice President, Secretary of State and their spouses. As well as traveling abroad on presidential trips, Tiffany produced the annual Federal Register and Congressional Gift reports, implemented the gift inventory database and provided research and guidance on protocol matters.
Prior to the move to Washington, D. C., Tiffany was the Texas Area Regional Director for Escada based at the Highland Park Village boutique for eight years. In that same location, she was the sales manager for Lilly Dodson/Escada for six years. Previously, she served many high-profile clients as a consultant for the Fifth Avenue Club at Saks Fifth Avenue.
Tiffany is a fifth generation Texan committed to serving the Dallas community through her numerous associations with local philanthropic agencies. She received a B.A. in Communications and Radio/TV from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Tiffany is married to Paul Divis and has three grown children.
