Background on Gromer Jeffers
Gromer Jeffers is a seasoned political reporter for the Dallas Morning News, covering local, state and national politics. He also appears Sundays on NBC 5’s “Lone Star Politics”. Local television media often calls upon Jeffers as a political analyst.
Mr. Jeffers is from Chicago, Ill and has a journalism and political science degree from Howard University. Before coming to Dallas, Gromer served as a government reporter for the Kansas City Star and as a reporter for the Chicago Defender While in Chicago he was the lead singer in a Chicago gospel quartet. He believes the secret of a good news column is one part news and one part yourself.
He will be sharing with us his insights on the upcoming elections.
