Owner of Betty Reiter Boutique

Betty Reiter is located in Preston Center East and features European lines focused on construction, fabrication and texture. Her choice of rich colors, timeless pieces, and exclusive labels make this cozy boutique an absolute destination spot for clients all over the country.

Betty was born and raised in the fashion capital of Paris, France. In 1969, Betty moved to New York and began working in sales with Yves St. Laurent. By 1981 she and her husband Bill moved to Texas, where she began working as a sales associate for Loretta Blum in Loretta’s namesake boutique. Here, Betty forged friendships with co-workers and clients that would continue on with her throughout the years. Between 1981 and 1992, Betty was known as Loretta’s top sales assistant and accompanied her on buying trips to Europe.

After her years invested in retail, Betty decided it was time to follow her own dream. She launched the first Betty Reiter boutique atop the Guaranty Bank building in 1994.
