The April 20, 2015 meeting featured Gail Thomas, President and CEO, The Trinity Trust.

“The Trinity River Corridor Project will have more impact on commercial real estate and development than any other project in Dallas’ history.  There are also endless educational opportunities:  the corridor will become one very large outdoor classroom.  And of course, recreational opportunities abound:  biking, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding and walking.”  Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings.  The  Trinity River Corridor Project is one of the most monumental public works and economic development projects ever attempted.
Dr. Gail Thomas serves as President and CEO of the Trinity Trust.  After directing the Center for Civic Leadership at the University of Dallas, she was a co-founder in 1980 of the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture and served as its Director for 17 years.  Following the unanimous adoption of the Balanced Vision Plan, the Mayor of Dallas asked Dr. Thomas to create an entity to raise private funds to supplement city bond funds to build the Trinity River Corridor Project.
The Trinity Trust Foundation raises private funds and public awareness to implement the Balanced Vision Plan for the Trinity project in conjunction with the City of Dallas.
